March 2012: Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range announces course maintenance updates for 2012

Since last fall, we have been working to make course improvements that will enhance your golf experiences at Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range! For the upcoming season, we have layed sod around the tees, to replace the worn turf. We used a Tall Fesque that will be well rooted by mid-May. This is a hearty turf that will withstand most draught conditions. The new turf replaced grass that was worn from years of use. We have scheduled a program of replacing small worn areas annually, for a better golf experience.  We do ask that when you hit from the mat, you stand on the mat and not on the grass.

We hope you realize the value at Cape May Par 3. The Par 3 is an 18-Hole par 3 course that takes only a couple hours to play. A round of golf is only $15.95 (Juniors $10). We offer a full golf facility with full size, country club condition greens, 2 practice greens, a full length driving range, and pro shop. James Quinn, professional golf instructor, is available for lessons, clinics, and consultations. Stop by the driving range today and you may be able to catch him our there offering tips and special lesson rates!!

Located outside Wildwood, Cape May Par 3 is only a few miles from the Garden State Parkway. Turn at MENZ Restaurant and we are only a short drive down the road. For those with a GPS, we are a point of interest (POI) and our address is 29 Fulling Mill Road, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.

Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range Goes Green

Rio Grande, NJ May 17, 2010 – Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range has recently installed solar panels on the roof of the club house, in an effort to transition to a renewable energy source. Renewable energy is both environmentally and fiscally responsible for small businesses. Solar energy provides a renewable energy source for all the Cape May Par 3's energy needs. The solar system at Cape May Par 3 will produce roughly 19,400 kWh in a year.

Gary Cannon and Tom Colucci, from CNC Solar, completed the installation at Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range. Gary and Tom have been colleagues in the renewable energy industry for some time, with over 100 solar installations. Together, Gary and Tom were concerned with the number of providers entering this rapidly evolving market without the experience, knowledge or dedication to provide good quality solar electric services. So with the start of the new decade, they decided it was time to launch a solar energy services company unlike any other.

Headquartered in coastal Delaware, CNC Solar provides high quality service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Eastern Energy Group is licensed and represented in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They are have committed to investing in the tools, technology and continual training to ensure their team is the most skilled and relevant in the field.

Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range is a Par 3, 18-Hole course with full size greens, 2 practice greens for putting and chipping, and a full length driving range.
